The Housing Design Specialization at the University of Oregon provides hands-on education in ecological housing design for social justice to the next generation of architects, developers and policy-makers.

Education is the co-creation of knowledge. Knowledge-sharing through dissemination allows us to improve findings and implications. Mentoring is a formal process in which students are guided in ethical and rigorous knowledge creation.

The Housing Design Specialization serves Masters of Architecture students and post-professional Master of Science students. Bachelor of Architecture and Interior Architecture students may also enroll in the housing studios and seminar courses as they prepare for careers in housing practice.

Christina Bollo is the Director of the Housing Specialization.

Affiliated faculty members include Clay Neal, Peter Keyes, and Michael Fifield.
